For those interested in learning more about orchestral music and composers, Levine Music offers enrichment classes to complement Baltimore Symphony Orchestra concerts held at The Music Center at Strathmore.
These courses, taught by Levine Lecturer Joel Friedman, are in-depth explorations of upcoming BSO performances in the 2013-2014 season. The classes explore the music on the evening’s program with discussions that delve into the historical context of the repertoire and the composers. The 45-minute classes are FREE to ticket holders.
Classes meet before the selected performances at 7:00 PM in Room 309 at Strathmore and are followed by a performance by the BSO at 8:00 PM. Registration is required.
You must register by 5:00 PM on the Friday before the lecture to reserve seats. All reserved seats will be held until 6:50 PM the evening of the lecture. At 6:50 PM all reserved seats will be released as general admission seating.
