Suzuki Strings Violin Instructor, part-time

The Position:
Levine Music is pleased to announce a part-time Violin Instructor position in the Suzuki Strings Department, commencing September 2022. The instructor must be flexible to teach at one or more of the six of Levine’s campuses in the Washington DC area, to add more days/hours in the future.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess BM in Performance or Education, MM in Performance or Education preferred.  Applicants should have registered training in the Suzuki Method through Book 4, have a dedication to and understanding of the Suzuki philosophy, and have teaching experience with children of all ages. (Applicants with less Suzuki training may be considered if they are highly qualified in other areas and willing to continue training, observation, and mentoring.)   Group class teaching experience is a plus.

Compensation will be awarded according to qualifications and experience.
