Music Therapy
Education
Emily holds a BA in Music Therapy and Psychology from Montclair State University. Additionally, she completed a music therapy internship here at Levine in 2023. Her primary instrument is piano, but she also has training in guitar and voice.
Performance
One of Emily’s most memorable performances was when she performed the choral portion of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at Carnegie Hall with the Montclair State University Chorale.
At Levine
Emily joined Levine’s Music Therapy team in 2023.
I believe that every individual can connect with music in some way. I ensure that I incorporate both preferred and motivating music for the people I work with in music therapy sessions. It is also important that I determine how an individual learns best and facilitate sessions with these strategies in mind to guide them towards gradual progress both in and outside of the music therapy session.
