Piano, Suzuki Piano


Laurie received her B.A. from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and her M.M. and D.M.A. from the University of MD College Park. She is certified in Suzuki Piano Books 1-6.

Performance and Teaching Experience

Laurie has performed throughout the United States including for the National Gallery of Art Steinway Series in 2013, at the Smithsonian Institution, Kennedy Center, National Cathedral, University of Richmond’s 3rd Practice Festival of New Music and UMBC LiveWire Festival of New Music. She has also appeared with the VERGE Ensemble, 21st Century Consort, edgEnsemble and National Gallery of Art New Music Ensemble.

Prior to Levine, Laurie taught at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

Laurie is a recording artist for Furious Artisans.

At Levine

Laurie has been on the Levine faculty since 1999 where she teaches piano and Suzuki piano.

“The Levine community opens up opportunities for students to perform and I enjoy having the opportunity to watch students grow from very young beginners to very advanced teens.”


Laurie spends her free time instructing yoga and other fitness classes.
