Education

Sarah completed her B.M. in Musical Theatre from The Catholic University of America.

Performance and Teaching Experience

Sarah has performed with Riverside Center for the Performing Arts (Saturday Night Fever, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Beauty and the Beast), Monumental Theatre Co (Urinetown),  Adventure Theatre MTC (Pinkalicious and Knuffle Bunny), and Outstanding Voices of DC Cabarets.

Sarah was Gonzaga College Prep High School choreographer for their spring musicals for the last 5 years. She created a musical theatre training program for dancers to grow in their acting and singing at Dawn Crafton Dance Connection.

At Levine

Sarah Frances joined Levine Music Theatre in the fall of 2019 and serves as the department chair.

Teaching Philosophy and Approach

“I believe that anyone can dance, you must give yourself the ability to learn. In musical theatre, dance is an important as singing and acting. Ballet is the base of dance and from knowing technique you can translate that into any style.”

Fun Fact

“When I am not teaching, I am usually playing with my dog Mickey Dog.”
