Levine Music Theatre, in partnership with The Theatre Lab presents…
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
The cast features the 15 students of the Summer Teen Program. This production will be held outside at Levine Music NW campus in the backlot tent. Directed by Tracy Lynn Olivera, Music Direction by Walter “Bobby” McCoy, and Choreography by Katy Tabb.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee follows an eclectic group of mid-pubescents as they vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.
Shows are July 15th – 17th at 5:00pm. $15.00 per ticket. Seating is limited. All attendees must follow current Levine Music covid protocol and fill out the required Levine Music Covid-19 Screening.
