The Songs of Richard Rodgers, Mary Rodgers Guettel & Adam Guettel

Join Levine Music Theatre students for an evening of repertoire from Broadway musicals by the legendary American composer Richard Rodgers, his daughter composer/author Mary Rodgers Guettel, and his grandson (Mary’s son) composer/lyricist Adam Guettel. In this hour long concert the audience is invited to a world of cabaret style performing with performances featuring students from Performing Musical Theatre in Concert and Cabaret and accompanied by the Levine Music Theatre Pit, conducted by Lucia LaNave. Direction by Anna Bergman, Meredith Eib, and Sarah Frances Hope Williams. 

Richard Rodgers is a beloved composer who wrote songs with such renowned lyricists as Lorenz Hart, Oscar Hammerstein II, Martin Charnin, Stephen Sondheim and himself!
Composer Mary Rodgers Guettel collaborated with lyricists Marshall Barer/Larry Siegel (ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, MAD SHOW) and with Stephen Sondheim.
Composer/ lyricist Adam Guettel is best known for his Tony award-winning Broadway musical THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA and Off-Broadway shows FLOYD COLLINS and MYTHS & HYMNS. His newest musical DAYS OF WINE & ROSES will premiere at the Atlantic Theatre Company in New York this season.
