A camp for beginning and intermediate adult strings players, this program combines a variety of learning topics and playing opportunities into one event! The program has two tracks to consider multiple skill levels.

The weekend includes technical skill work on the instrument, musical topic sessions, music theory basics and review, and jam session reading. A complete schedule will be distributed prior to the first class. Time at the end of each day is reserved for a social gathering and discussion.

9:30am-4pm Early Beginner (within the first few months-1 year)

Beginner players attend the introduction course and can be exempt from or participate as an observer in other classes beyond their level. Music reading ability or fluency is not required. Players must bring their own instrument. A limited number of instruments may be available to use from Levine.

10:30am-4pm Late Beginner-Intermediate (1-2 years+)

Participants are fully immersed in all elements of the program. Players must bring their own instrument. It is highly recommended to have music-reading skills to get the most out of this program.

This experience will take place IN-PERSON, INDOORS. Students in this class must show proof of vaccination in order to participate. See the Return to Campus Guide for more info.
