Sinfonietta is a continuation of the Levine Premiere Orchestra. Rehearsals are focused on performance and the development of ensemble skills with a significant emphasis on the development of individual techniques relating to each instrument (violin, viola, or cello). In addition to full ensemble coaching, we’ll work in smaller groups for sectional time with expert faculty each week. Students who did not participate in the Premiere Orchestra last year are welcome to enroll upon approval of the instructor. Two concerts are presented each year.
