THEARC Beginner Orchestra and THEARC Intermediate Orchestra are coming off their eighth successful year at THEARC! For students with little or no previous experience in music, this beginning ensemble introduces students to a stringed instrument (violin, viola, cello, or bass). Each week students receive 90 minutes of instruction and guidance in a full ensemble as well as instrument-specific small group sectionals with Director Jonathan Jones.
Please note: A placement interview is required. Interviews with the instructor will be held on September 6th and September 13th to assist students in choosing and sizing an instrument.
