Begin your guitar study with Levine’s respected and expert faculty. Students master basic note-reading, melodies, right-hand pick and fingerstyle technique, chords and strums.
Repertoire includes popular songs and melodies from around the world. This course prepares students for further study in contemporary or classical guitar styles.
No previous musical experience is required. Limited number of guitars available for rent; otherwise students must provide their own guitar.
This class will meet every other week in-person and every other week via Zoom. Students should have access to a computer (preferred) or a mobile/tablet device with reliable internet access.
