This class provides a wonderful opportunity for babies and toddlers to discover the joys of making music through singing, chanting, simple finger plays, wiggles, tickles, bounces, listening and movement. Age-appropriate percussion instruments are used to internalize steady beat. Concepts such as body/spatial awareness, numbers, seasons, family, and animals are reinforced through identification games and musical play. Participants receive guidance on children’s musical development, along, tools that support the creation of a nurturing musical environment at home.
