Do you play an instrument, sing, or write songs? Would you like to do it with others? Find out what it’s like to collaborate in a professional-style rock band! This 8-week program aims to serve all levels and tastes by matching each student with suitable fellow-musicians, for friendly and stimulating coaching sessions.

Students learn performance and ensemble skills, and learn about song selection, chart reading, improvisation, and songwriting. Our typical band consists of guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, and vocals. Other instruments are also welcome! Each session meets for 7 weeks of rehearsal and coaching, culminating in a live performance along with other bands in the 8th week.

Please note: Students should have at least one year of experience on their instrument. Amplifiers, drum set, and keyboards are provided. Students should bring other instruments, cables, staff paper/pencils, and a willingness to explore new music.
