THEARC Beginner Orchestra and THEARC Intermediate Orchestra are coming off their seventh successful year at THEARC! Designed for students with at least one year of experience, this intermediate ensemble introduces students to ensemble skills on a stringed instrument (violin, viola, cello, or bass).

Each week students receive 90 minutes of instruction and guidance in the full ensemble and in instrument-specific small group sectionals from Director Jonathan Jones. Please note: An interview is required. Interviews with the instructor will be held on September 8 and September 15 to assist students in choosing and sizing an instrument. To schedule an interview, please complete the Interview Sign-Up Form. For more information, and to schedule an interview, please contact Jonathan Jones at jjones@levinemusic.org; Dr. Patrick LeStrange, Strings Department Chair, at (202) 686-8000 x1110 or plestrange@levinemusic.org; or Regan Ford, Levine Campus Director at THEARC, at (202) 610-2036 or rford@levinemusic.org.
