Bring your orchestral instrument (open to winds, brass, orchestral strings, percussion) and music for a fun evening of orchestra music-making in a reading rehearsal with fellow orchestra musicians, and an evening of socializing, following current safety measures in place.
This ensemble festival night is geared toward advanced intermediate and advanced adult players, likely who already have experience playing in ensembles and orchestra, and are looking to participate in a chamber or full orchestra setting. In addition to having a reading rehearsal together, you’ll also learn more about Levine’s Philharmonic Orchestra program.
Repertoire* for the Reading Day will be selected from:
Players who RSVP to register in advance can obtain music prior to the event via email when it is ready. Players will need to print their music and bring it to rehearsal (and try to practice in advance), although some copies will be available on site if needed. Interested percussionists should also contact Conductor to discuss options.
