From 495 E:

Take exit 34 towards Rockville Pike. You will merge with Rockville Pike South. Take your next legal u-turn on to Rockville Pike North and follow 495 W directions. Alternately, take exit 36 towards Old Georgetown Road. Turn left at the end of the ramp. Follow Old Georgetown Road across 270 and turn right on Tuckerman Lane. Once you cross Rockville Pike, follow Tuckerman to either the Music Center circular drop-off or the Metro garage.

Metro:

Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro Station is connected to the Music Center by a covered walkway (across Tuckerman Lane) and is serviced by all Red Line trains.

Parking:

The parking garage for the Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro station also serves as the main parking facility for the Music Center and our students. Metro’s system-wide rate for parking is $5.10 per use. Payment for parking is accepted with any major credit card or Metro SmarTrip Cards. SmarTrip Cards cost a one-time fee of $5.00 and can be purchased at the station or here: http://www.wmata.com/fares/smartrip/.

To get to Levine, park on level four of the parking garage, proceed on the walkway, which will lead you directly to the Education Center, located on the third floor of the Music Center. Levine’s administrative offices are located on the second floor.

Alternatively, a total of 80 metered parking spots are also available along Tuckerman Lane, for up to 3 hours. Payment is required between 7am-7pm on weekdays for $1.00 an hour. These meters are free on weekends.

Drop-off:

A drop-off and pick-up circle is located at the lower entrance of the Music Center on Tuckerman Lane, directly across from the Metro garage. Drivers must remain in vehicles while idling in the circle. This entrance accesses the grand staircase and elevators.
