When Not to Come to Campus
We ask all community members to stay home or go home if they are feeling sick or exhibiting symptoms of any respiratory illness, including COVID-19, RSV, influenza, and others. If you or your child are exhibiting symptoms or feeling unwell, please do not come to campus and contact your teacher, Student Services, or campus staff to facilitate moving to an online lesson. Please visit the CDC website for more information on possible symptoms of COVID-19.
Levine asks all community members to follow the CDC’s recommendations after a positive COVID-19 case or exposure, and for all other respiratory illnesses. Stay home and away from others until your symptoms are getting better and you are fever-free without medication for 24 hours, then take added precautions, such as masking and distancing, for the next five days.
Information on free COVID-19 tests is available on the Department of Health and Human Services’s website.
For all respiratory illnesses, Levine asks all community members to self-monitor for symptoms, self-isolate as symptoms develop, and stay home from in-person campus activities until fever-free for at least 24 hours and symptoms improve.
Masks
Masking is optional for most on-campus activities. However, individuals wishing to continue masking may do so for any activity and any reason.
Our Spaces
Following the guidance and advice of our medical consultants and HVAC systems consultants, upgrades have been made to ensure appropriate ventilation and filtration at our DC Campus: NW. Additionally, we invested in plasma air cleaning technology, and our HVAC systems have been calibrated to increase outdoor air intake. Portable air purifiers are placed around our campus locations to reflect the highest CADR rating recommended by the EPA for the correct room sizes and square footage to maximize air filtration.
All Levine campuses are regularly cleaned and disinfected. Hand sanitizer and disinfecting materials are also available for public use throughout our spaces.
