Education
Karen received her B.M. in Flute Performance from the University of Maryland.
Performance and Teaching Experience
As a performer, Karen has been featured as a soloist with with the Chamber Artists of Washington and was the principal flutist of the Washington Bach Consort. She has had performances with the Takacs String Quartet (US and Mexico), the Bach Aria Group, the Bethlehem Bach Festival, the Shelter Island Music Festival and the Glimmerglass Chamber Music Festival. Most recently, she gave a solo recital at the National Gallery of Art.
