Kids explore the guitar and learn basic concepts including note reading, rhythm and strumming and singing. Grownups at a beginning level learn along with their kids, while those with more experience learn more complicated versions of the same songs. Culminating in a group performance, the class provides a warm environment for kids and their grownup to play together – a fun escape for both and a wonderful bonding experience.
Let’s Play Guitar Together is for kids and their grownups to take together! It’s the perfect way to spend quality time with a kid in your life, whether that is a grandchild, niece/nephew, or family friend, or your own kids. Designed for children ages 7-12 at a beginning level and adults at any level of experience, this class allows you and your child to share the experience of playing together and along the way both of you will improve your skills.
Please note: This online class will be presented via Zoom. Students should have access to a computer (preferred) or a mobile device with reliable internet access. All students must provide their own acoustic (preferably nylon string) guitar and a guitar footstool.
