The Position:

Levine Music is pleased to announce a part-time instructor position in the Strings Department. The ideal candidate’s primary instrument is viola, with the ability to teach violin from beginning to intermediate levels.

Candidates should be experienced teaching students with a broad range of abilities and backgrounds in private and group class settings. Ideally, candidates should have a strong classical background. A BM in Performance or Education is required, and an MM in Performance or Education or equivalent teaching experience with children of all ages is required. Applicants should possess a love of music, teaching, and children, as well as the desire to nurture and shape the lives of young musicians. 

Performance opportunities may also be possible for successful candidates with strong performance backgrounds. Compensation will be awarded according to qualifications and experience.
