Cello Instructor, part-time

Levine Music is pleased to announce a part-time Cello Instructor position in the Strings Department, commencing September 2023.  There are openings for teaching on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays at our VA Campus: Arlington and VA Campus: Falls Church locations. There is an opening at the MD Campus: Silver Spring, with teaching to be determined.  

Candidates should be experienced teaching students with a broad range of abilities and backgrounds in private and group class settings.  Ideally, candidates should have a strong classical background. A BM in Performance or Education is required, MM in Performance or Education or equivalent teaching experience with children of all ages is required. Applicants should possess a love of music, teaching, and children, as well as the desire to nurture and shape the lives of young musicians.   

Performance opportunities may also be possible for successful candidates with strong performance backgrounds.  Compensation will be awarded according to qualifications and experience.
