The Position

Levine Music is pleased to announce a part-time Harp Instructor position in the Strings Department, beginning September 2023. 

Compensation will be awarded according to qualifications, experience, and open availability.

Qualifications

Candidates should be experienced teaching students with a broad range of abilities and backgrounds in private and group class settings.  Ideally, candidates should have both a strong classical background.  

  • Private lesson instruction
  • Experience setting up students from the beginning and creating a strong technical foundation.
  • Comfortable teaching advanced Harp repertoire. 

A BM in Performance or Education required, MM in Performance or Education or equivalent teaching experience with children of all ages is required. Applicants should possess a love of music, teaching, and children as well as the desire to nurture and shape the lives of young musicians. 

Performance opportunities may also be possible for successful candidates with strong performance backgrounds.
