Voice
In lieu of traditional jury recitals, each vocal instructor will hold a series of studio classes. Teachers will invite students to attend a Zoom, performance class, date, and time to happen during Performance Week (12/14 – 12/19). For their assigned class, students will have an opportunity to share what they have been working on in their voice lessons. Students may sing a cappella or with performance tracks, however they feel most comfortable. Students will receive immediate verbal feedback from their instructor along with written feedback on tone, diction, intonation, use of breath and line, musicality, and stage deportment. Written feedback will be scanned or emailed to each student/family in time for the next, regularly scheduled lesson. NO SIGN UP IS NECESSARY. Each instructor will set up their own studio class schedule which they will share with families/students after the Thanksgiving holiday.
