Levine Music is proud to welcome three new additions to our Board of Trustees: Dr. Ibrahim “Pete” Hanna, Chief Medical Officer of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital; Tim Jessell, attorney and shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP; and distinguished dentist Dr. Wesley Delaine Thomas. Each of them brings expertise and unique perspectives that will help our Levine Music grow and thrive, and we’re thrilled to have them join our community.
Dr. Ibrahim “Pete” Hanna, MD, FACS, is the Chief Medical officer of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital as well as Professor and Chairman of Surgery for SABA University School of Medicine and MUA. Pete serves as a Board of Trustees member for the Wharton Healthcare Management Alumni Association and for the Inova Select Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia. He is also a member of the Greater Washington Steering Committee for the Human Rights Campaign. With a special interest in healthcare equality, Pete served as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Maryland Healthcare Education Institute as well as a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board for the Maryland Hospital Association and the Quality Board for Healthcare for the Homeless.
Pete earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from the University of Damascus in Syria. He completed his residency in general surgery at Marshall University, Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, in Huntington, WV.

Tim Jessell is an attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. He represents individuals, publicly traded and closely held corporations in connection with mergers and acquisitions. Tim earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and his JD from the Georgetown University Law Center. Tim also serves on the Global Advisory Council of TechnoServe, a nonprofit that funds entrepreneurs and small businesses in impoverished communities around the world.

Dr. Wesley Delaine Thomas is a distinguished general dentist with a multifaceted career that spans clinical practice, military service, and organizational leadership. He holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the District of Columbia Army National Guard, contributing significantly to soldiers’ dental health and operational readiness.
Wesley is a 2015 Society member and Ambassador for the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, advocating for cultural preservation and education. His board memberships have included the Whitman-Walker Health Center and the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center, highlighting his commitment to health and wellness in underserved communities. As an arts patron, Dr. Thomas supports several major cultural institutions, including the Washington National Opera, Washington Performing Arts, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. His support extends to the John F. Kennedy Center Circles, reflecting his passion for fostering the arts and culture in his community.
