Abby certified in First Steps in Music from the Feierabend Association for Music Education.

Performing and Teaching Experience

Abby has over 5 years experience teaching youth in various performance studies programs, such as teaching full-year residency programs in early childhood music, teaching classes at Imagination Stage, and directing and managing numerous musical productions for elementary, middle school, and high school students throughout my career.

At Levine

Abby joined Levine’s First Music September 2017.

“I love being a part of the Levine family and its rich history! I am constantly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such thoughtful and creative educators in the First Music department, as well as the institution as a whole.”

Teaching Philosophy

“My philosophy is rooted in the First Steps in Music methodology that emphasizes early music study as the beginning of a “30 year plan,” with the goal of providing students with tools to creatively express themselves through music and a life-long appreciation for the arts.”

Personal

When not at Levine, I enjoy spending time practicing yoga, singing in choir, or cooking.
