Betty has degrees from Oberlin, UNC-Chapel Hill; Mozarteum, the Peabody Institute, and Schubert Institut (Austria).
Performance and Teaching Experience
Betty served as a faculty member for Duke University, University of Richmond, Northern Virginia Community College, AIMS (Austria), and Oberlin Conservatory, where she was Associate Dean. She was part of the music staff at the Washington National Opera.
Betty has performed as a concert soloist in North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, in Europe, and on national TV.
