Cierra received her Bachelors and Masters of Music Education from Norfolk State University.
Teaching Experience
Cierra teaches at Prince George’s County Public Schools as a Vocal and General Music Specialist for grades PreK-5. From 2010 to 20156 Cierra taught at Norfolk Public Schools Elementary General Music and Elementary Orchestra Teacher for grades K-5).
At Levine
Cierra joined the Levine faculty in 2017.
Teaching Philosophy
Her teaching philosophy is “Children and adults are innately musical in everyday speech and movement. Music education brings out that which is already embedded and natural in everyone. It is therefore important to prepare children to be tuneful, beautiful and artful adults through singing songs, moving and dancing, and playing games and instruments.”
