Education
Dimitrios completed his Bachelor of Music at the Eastman School of Music with saxophone studies withChien-Kwan Lin. He received his Master of Music, Graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University studying saxophone with Gary Louie.
Performing and Teaching Experience
Dimitrios was a featured soloist with the Eastman Wind Ensemble and featured recitalist at Kennedy Center Terrace Theater. He was a Gold Medalist at Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and a First Prize Winner at the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Competition.
At Levine
Dimitrios joined Levine’s Woodwinds and Brass department in Fall 2008 teaching saxophone. Additionally, he is a faculty member for Camp Levine.
Personal
Dimitrios holds a European Union level C2 Greek language certificate and is an avid fan of international motorsport.
