Marbelly has performed as an accompanist for choirs on guitar and cuatro and in orchestras with lute and mandolin. Recently, she played in the Virtual Guitar Orchestra.

As a Teacher

In the past, Marbelly has served as OLOM Children Church choir director, taught visiting instrument classes for school and pre-school children in the Maryland area, and graduate and undergraduate food science classes at the Simón Bolívar University in Venezuela.

At Levine

Marbelly joined Levine’s First Music faculty in 2023 and also teaches guitar during Camp Levine.

Levine provides students a wide variety of programs to learn and make music a positive part of students’ lives. I really enjoy collaborating with very experienced faculty members to create the best learning experience for all students.

Teaching Philosophy

For my students in First Music, my goal is to create a joyful relationship with music simultaneously laying down the foundations of music by playing, singing, and dancing.

I strive to teach my guitar students to develop the habit of practice, a sense of musicality and good technique from the beginning, meeting their needs at their pace.

For my students’ families, I like to encourage them to find opportunities where they can simply enjoy the music with their children.
