Percussion Instructor, part-time

The Position:

Levine Music’s Percussion Department is seeking an experienced Percussion Instructor to teach at several campuses, starting February 2023.  Saturday teaching availability highly desirable. 

 

Qualifications
To qualify for this position the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in music, two years successful experience teaching percussion, including early and elementary students, and a record of success as percussion performer in local and regional venues. The preferred candidate will have a Batchelor’s degree in music, four or more years successful experience teaching percussion, including percussion ensemble, percussion techniques, basic improvisation, and a current record of successful performance experience as a percussionist at the national level.

Performance opportunities may also be possible for successful candidates with strong performance backgrounds.

Compensation will be awarded according to qualifications and experience.
