Part-Time Violin and Viola Instructor(s)

Levine Music is pleased to announce part-time Violin and Viola Instructor positions in the Strings Department commencing October 2023. There are openings for teaching on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at the MD Campus: Silver Spring, with the possibility of expanding teaching to additional campuses as the year progresses.
Candidates should be experienced teaching students with a broad range of abilities and backgrounds in private and group class settings. Ideally, candidates should have a strong classical background. A BM in Performance or Education is required, and an MM in Performance or Education or equivalent teaching experience with children of all ages is required. Applicants should possess a love of music, teaching, and children, as well as the desire to nurture and shape the lives of young musicians.
Performance opportunities may also be possible for successful candidates with strong performance backgrounds. Compensation will be awarded according to qualifications and experience. Applicants for this position should submit a cover letter and resume. These positions will remain open until filled.
