50 Years of Memories: Anne Evans

As part of Levine Music’s 50th Anniversary celebration, we’ve been reflecting on the people and stories that have shaped our community over the years.

Anne Evans is a longtime member of Levine’s Board of Trustees whose connection to the school spans more than three decades. Anne joined the Board in the early 1990s, served on numerous committees, and led the Board as President.

Originally trained as a violinist, Anne came to Levine to study voice with beloved longtime faculty member Charles Williams. “It was really the music that brought me to Levine,” she reflects. “Levine is a place for everybody — a place where you can truly live your life in music.”
