Ukulele Jam

Mark Sylvester will take your ukulele playing to the next level in this well-loved online class. New techniques and tunes are introduced every session!

We’ll learn:

• More chords.
• New strumming patterns.
• More challenging songs.
• Right hand fingerstyle technique.
• Arpeggios and scales.
• Music theory and song structure.

Before taking this class, make sure you’re comfortable with basic open position chords (F, C, G, D, A, E7, Am, Em, Dm), basic rhythmic notation, and either standard music notation or tablature.

Upon completion of this class, you’ll have the option of starting private lessons or continuing in a group setting.

This class will be presented online via Zoom. You’ll need access to a computer (preferred) or a mobile device with reliable internet access.

Please note: If you register at least two weeks before the start of class, you can ask Levine to provide a ukulele which you can keep at the conclusion of the class. All other participants must provide their own instruments tuned to G-C-E-A.
