Join us in harnessing the joy and therapeutic power of music for optimal brain and body health and wellness. This class focuses on recovery and wellness, particularly for individuals with neurologic impairments (stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease) or general aging related concerns.
Led by a Levine board-certified neurologic music therapist (NMT), this group promotes health, wellness, and symptom management through research-based musical techniques and experiences.
Each session invites participants to make music together through singing, movement, dance, and active music-making in a safe and welcoming community space. We’ll also learn helpful strategies for using music for brain and body wellness at home between sessions.
This group class is open to adults with neurologic impairments or aging related concerns. Care partners are welcome to participate. No prior music experience is required!
