Silver Spring Camerata Orchestra
(Ages 11-15)
The Silver Spring Camerata Orchestra is a continuation of the Sinfonietta Orchestra and focuses on further preparing repertoire for performance while developing ensemble skills. We’ll work together as a group in a collaborative approach with the director, Jonathan Jones. In addition to full ensemble coaching, we’ll also work in smaller groups for sectional time with expert faculty several times over the course of the year and continue to perfect individual techniques (violin, viola, cello, bass) while exploring basic music theory concepts and musicianship skills.
