Silver Spring Sinfonietta Orchestra
(Ages 8-12)
Sinfonietta is a continuation of beginning group classes and/or private lessons. Rehearsals are focused on performance and the development of ensemble skills with a significant emphasis on the development of individual techniques relating to each instrument (violin, viola, cello, bass). In addition to full ensemble coaching, the orchestra will work in smaller groups for sectional time with expert faculty several times over the course of the year. Two concerts are held each year.
