Artist Lab: Building a Sustainable Career in Music

Artist Lab is an interactive monthly series for students of all instruments, styles, and experience levels who want to build their knowledge of the professional side of music. Through workshops, discussions, guest artists, and hands-on projects, explore topics including professional branding, artist materials, marketing, recording and content creation, songwriting, the music business, and entrepreneurship.

Kick off the series with a panel discussion moderated by Levine faculty member Ceylon Mitchell and featuring music industry professionals from across the region. Explore career pathways, revenue streams, intellectual property, audience development, and strategies for building a sustainable career in music.
