Education

Johnny Walker has a B.A. Cello Performance from University of Maryland Baltimore County, a Certificate of Participation from Jazz at Lincoln Center’ Band Director Academy, and is an Associate Member with the Suzuki Association of America.

Performance and Teaching Experience

He has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center, NPR Tiny Desk Concerts, Carter Baron Amphitheater, Embassy of France, and the White House.

Johnny was a Teaching Artist at Washington Performing Arts and a Cello instructor at Suitland High School Center for Visual and Performing Arts.

At Levine

Johnny joined the Levine faculty in November 2019, teaching cello lessons and the orchestra programs at THEARC.
