Education
Johnny Walker has a B.A. Cello Performance from University of Maryland Baltimore County, a Certificate of Participation from Jazz at Lincoln Center’ Band Director Academy, and is an Associate Member with the Suzuki Association of America.
Performance and Teaching Experience
He has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center, NPR Tiny Desk Concert, Carter Baron Amphitheatre, Embassy of France and White House.
Johnny was a Teaching Artist at Washington Performing Arts and a Cello instructor at Suitland High School Center for Visual and Performing Arts.
At Levine
He joined the Levine faculty in November 2019, teaching THEARC Beginner Orchestra, THEARC Intermediate Orchestra.
Johnny favorite aspect of being on faculty at Levine is making an impact on his students.
Personal
His hobbies include reading and trying new food.
