Given the depth of insight in her interpretation and the richness, color and expression that she commands, Kanako is highly acclaimed for her artistry, as evidenced by numerous awards and scholarships that have been bestowed upon her.
As a Teacher
Kanako is known as a dedicated piano teacher with over 20 years of experience. She has mentored many students, who regularly appear in public concerts, auditions, and competitions. She aims to help our students establish a strong foundation, grow interests, reach their own goals, and most importantly, learn how to enjoy music. A lot of her students carry their love and appreciation of music throughout their lives long after taking lessons.
Teaching Philosophy
Music is a gift for all individuals, regardless of background. Music brings joy and makes people smile. My goals are to assist students to develop musical skills with strong foundation, grow interests, build confidence, and share how to enjoy music.
