Levine faculty member Belle Suwanpotipra.

Education

Belle received her B.M. in Piano Performance from the University of North Texas. She then received her M.M. in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California. Currently, Belle is pursuing her D.M.A. in Piano at the University of Maryland.

Performance and Teaching experience

A native of Thailand, Belle has performed internationally and won competitions, including the Thailand Steinway Piano Concerto Competition. She appeared as a soloist with various orchestras, including the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra, and the Bangkok Charity Orchestra. As an active pianist, Belle has given solo and chamber recitals in Los Angeles, Dallas, Italy, Bangkok, and Chiang Mai (Thailand), and performed at Carnegie Hall in 2014.

Belle has been teaching private lessons since 2008 and has had students participate in competitions and examinations. Currently, Belle is a teaching assistant at the University of Maryland.
