2021 Camp Levine Details
A small, in-person Camp Levine will take place this summer at our DC Campus: NW and the Whittle School. We remain eager to bring our camp community together once again in-person but are committed to taking the time and precautions necessary to offer an in-person experience that honors Camp Levine’s pillars of safety, fun, and education.
At camp, you can expect a reduced number of campers to ensure proper distancing and to observe all safety protocols.

Full day: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Half day: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (only available for rising Pre-K and Kindergarten campers)
Before and Aftercare
Before and Aftercare are not available this summer.

- Campers will need to be dropped off and picked up at their corresponding campuses.
- Drop off and pick up times will be built with flexibility to accommodate the 3-minute drive (10-minute walk) between campuses.
Tuition
Full day: $1,470
Half day: $855 (only available for rising Pre-K and Kindergarten campers)
Ages
Camp Levine campers range in age from 3 1/2 to 12 (rising 6th graders). Pre-Kindergarten campers must be 3 years old by January 15, 2021, in order to enroll.

Entering Pre-K and Kindergarten
Camp Levine for rising Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade will run at our DC Campus: NW:

Please note that this is a different, but neighboring location to our 3rd – 6th grade campus at the Whittle School; it is a 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk between campuses.
The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten program is designed for children ranging in age from 3 1/2 to 5 years of age. With developmentally-appropriate curriculum developed by camp directors and early childhood music educators, our youngest campers explore music and the arts through singing, storytelling, arts and crafts, creative movement, and imaginative play.
Each Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten camper is assigned to a class with one experienced early childhood music educator and a teen apprentice, who assist the teacher and campers in the classroom. Campers will be visited by a professional musician/teacher regularly to experience a variety of instruments.
Campers must be rising Pre-Kindergarteners or Kindergarteners, out of diapers, and completely potty-trained and independent in the restroom. Prior musical knowledge/experience is not required.

The 1st-2nd grade program is designed for campers who are approximately ages 6-7 and entering the 1st-2nd grades during the coming academic year. These camp teams will stay in a group of ten or fewer and with a lead teacher and a teen apprentice guiding the daily activities, including instrumental music, visual art, outdoor play, dance, and drama.

These camp teams will stay in a group of ten or fewer and with a lead teacher and a teen apprentice guiding the daily activities, including instrumental music, visual art, outdoor play, dance, and drama.
