Clarinet Instructor, part-time

Levine Music is pleased to announce a part-time clarinet teaching position in the Winds and Brass Department. Levine Music is looking for applicants interested in and prepared to join a team of mutually supportive and collaborative teachers with a diversity of pedagogical approaches. The instructor must be flexible to teach at multiple campuses, with immediate need at our DC Campus: NW, MD Campus: Strathmore, and MD Campus: Silver Spring, and be available for weekly lessons from September through June.
Compensation will be awarded according to qualifications, experience, and open availability.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a BM in Performance or Education, with an MM in Performance or Education preferred, or equivalent teaching experience. Candidates should be experienced teaching students of all ages with a broad range of abilities and backgrounds in both private and group class settings. Ideally, candidates should have both a strong classical background and a capacity to teach other contemporary musical styles. Applicants should be comfortable teaching students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
