Prepare for Maryland All-State auditions with Levine Music! This workshop offers repertoire coaching, scales and technique practice, sight-reading guidance, and mock auditions to help students build confidence and strengthen their audition skills for this year and beyond.
Who Should Attend
Students preparing to audition for Maryland All-State ensembles.
Instruments
Flute, clarinet, trumpet, and saxophone. Additional woodwind and brass instruments may be available depending on faculty availability.
Workshop Schedule
- 2–2:45 PM: Scales and Technique Workshop — Develop technical skills with instrument-specific guidance.
- 2:45–3:30 PM: Repertoire Workshop — Work on the specific repertoire required for your audition.
- 3:30–4:15 PM: Sight-Reading Workshop — Practice strategies for approaching unfamiliar music.
- 4:15–5 PM: Mock Auditions — Gain experience in a simulated audition setting and learn strategies for managing audition nerves.
