Join us for an unforgettable chamber music concert as world-renowned violinist Andrés Cárdenes presents Hommage à Ravel in celebration of Maurice Ravel’s 150th birthday. He will be joined by his daughter, harpist Isabel Cárdenes, who is currently pursuing her master’s at the Curtis Institute, and members of the Georgetown Chamber Players. Together, they will honor Ravel’s legacy with performances of exquisite chamber works that showcase the composer’s unique voice and enduring influence.

Grammy-nominated violinist Andrés Cárdenes is recognized worldwide as one of classical music’s most versatile and compelling artists. Since winning second prize in the 1982 Tchaikovsky International Violin Competition, he has appeared as a soloist with over 100 orchestras on five continents and collaborated with many of the world’s leading conductors. A prolific recording artist, conductor, chamber musician, and educator, Cárdenes has built a distinguished career that bridges performance, pedagogy, and advocacy for contemporary music.
