Internationally acclaimed harpsichordist and Baroque specialist Webb Wiggins will lead a master class in Baroque performance for Levine Merit Program students, followed by an interactive workshop exploring stylistic interpretation and performance practice.
Recognized worldwide for his innovative continuo realizations, Wiggins has performed and recorded with leading ensembles including the Folger Consort, Apollo’s Fire, the Smithsonian Chamber Players, and the National Symphony Orchestra. A distinguished educator, he previously served as Associate Professor of Harpsichord at the Oberlin Conservatory and coordinated the early music program at the Peabody Conservatory for two decades.
