Honors: Accelerated Music Theory

This class introduces high-school age musicians to the fundamentals of music theory and musicianship in an accelerated format. Students develop skills and knowledge in rhythm, reading notes on the staff, scales, key signatures, intervals, chords, and musical signs and terms.

Classes designated Honors are enrichment options suitable for students who participate in Levine’s merit programs.

Students who have not taken a music theory class at Levine should take a free online placement test prior to registering for the class.
