Discover the joy of song with the Levine Legacy Chorus, an inspiring vocal ensemble led by Dr. Nakia Verner Thompson at Levine’s vibrant Southeast Campus at THEARC! Specially tailored for adults aged 55 and older, this dynamic program celebrates community, musical artistry, and the lifelong passion for singing.
Our innovative and fully accessible choir provides an uplifting space to explore your voice, build lasting connections, and express yourself. Absolutely no prior experience or reading music is required — just bring your enthusiasm and love for music!
The mission of the Levine Legacy Chorus is to empower mature voices through world-class arts education and thrilling performance opportunities. Singers of all skill levels are warmly embraced, and comfortable seated accommodations are provided for both rehearsals and showcases. Our repertoire will include a wide variety of music styles including both classical and contemporary music. The chorus will meet on Mondays beginning on November 2, 2026 from 1-2:15 PM.
Best of all, participation is completely free and open to everyone ready to raise their voice. To join or learn more, reach out to Dr. Nakia Verner Thompson at Nverner@levinemusic.org today!
