Middle school students of all experience levels meet once a week to expand their knowledge and skills across the disciplines of Music Theatre.
We’ll work on our skills in voice, acting, and dance with an emphasis on both ensemble and solo work. There will be an in-class presentation at the end of each session to show our families and friends all the fun things we learned.
Session 2 – Scene Study
We will take scenes and monologues from beloved contemporary Broadway musicals such as Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Wicked, Legally Blonde, Seussical, and so many more. We’ll work on techniques to approach and deliver dialogue in a way that is both effective and entertaining! Our final showcase on the last day of class will feature every student in scenes and monologues as well as a group number!
