About Alexander Tsereteli

Alexander (Sandro) Tsereteli, 22, is currently in his first year of the Master of Music program in Piano Studies at the Yale School of Music where he studies tuition-free under the tutelage of Prof. Boris Slutsky.

Alexander was a regular recipient of scholarships during his years at Levine Music while studying with Cecilia Cho and the New England Conservatory where he completed his Bachelor of Music degree while studying with Prof. Alexander Korsantia.

Alexander has been a multiple prize winner and has performed at numerous prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center REACH and Millennium Stage, and the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the Lincoln Center. He has participated in a number of festivals and summer music programs in the United States and Europe, including the BUTI summer program and the Film Scoring Workshop at NYU Steinhardt.

In addition to his piano studies, he has been composing from an early age and has performed his compositions at many concerts and events. In 2021, Alexander composed music for a documentary series about wine culture in the different regions of his native country of Georgia, which was showcased at different venues including the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival in 2022.
